The book cases house an extensive library from the former owner, Donald Davidson, a professor of literature at Vanderbilt and a faculty member at Middlebury College’s Bread Loaf School of English.
The Dining Room has a restored copper bar sink, a table that expands to seat up to 10 and opens onto a protected porch. A Powder Room is on first floor. There is a covered wrap-around porch with table, chairs and rockers. The large kitchen has a convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, compactor, washer and dryer, a small eating area and a view out to a perennial bed.
Upstairs, the Queen Master Bedroom Suite has a tremendous view of the mountains, spacious closet and adjoining bath with jetted tub, separate shower, double basin, marble floor and counter. The two handsomely furnished (extra-long) twin bedded rooms have original wide boarded pine floors, large closets and views of the mountains. The twin rooms share a hall bath with combined tub/shower.
